click on me to see my friends! "About my creator :)"
I'm currently a member of the International Guild of Miniature Artisans, the New Jersey Polymer Guild (here in Red Bank, NJ), and the International Doll Makers Association.

I've always been creative - I've embroidered, crocheted, sewed, and painted since I was very young. But what I'd always really wanted to do was sculpt. And then I discovered polymer clay! At last I had found my medium!

I love fantasy and the human form. Faeries and Mermaids are a complete delight to discover hiding in the clay. Each piece is begun with no particular plan; the face and expression emerges as I carefully work the clay. Some of them are startlingly life-like: see the The Elusive Bat Faerie and the The White Mermaid. Some of them have a 'cartoonish' air, like the Pixie Dust Faerie, and the The Peacock Faerie. Each creation is not at all like the one before it or like any of the ones after. I think that is part of what makes them extra special. I actually have trouble parting with them. It's hard to see them go - I spend upwards of 20 hours on each one. The hands and face are especially demanding at this scale. I go to extraordinary lengths to have the figure as detailed as possible. Their tiny feet have ankles, toes and heels. It doesn't matter if parts of the doll are covered with fabric or another ornamentation - the details are sculpted. I hope you enjoy these precious little darlings!

If you have any special requests for a Faerie, if you would like to critique a piece, or have artistic inputs, I'd like to hear from you, so please contact me via the web or write to me at the address below.

Thanks!
